The Cathedral was first found by King Louis IX (Saint Louis) and Bishop Maurice de Sully in the year of 1163 and finished by 1345.

Arc of Triumph or formerly named as ‘Place de l’Étoile—the étoile’ is one of the world’s best known commemorative monuments, which was built on Napoléon demand a year after the battle of Austerlitz in the 19th century in the Paris , France. It took almost 30 years to build this emblematic symbol of French nation!. 

French National Day and Bastille Day begins its journey at the arch since it’s purpose was to commemorate memory of the glorious victories of the French army!.

To get the best views of the entire city, you need to get to the top of the Arc de Triomphe, walking up 234 steps. Once you get to the viewing platform on the arch, (during both day and nightly time) you will have great views of La Defense, the Champs Elysées and Sacré Coeur etc.
