The Harbour of Rio de Janeiro, located in Brazil, is known as Guanabara Bay and produced by Atlantic Ocean erosion.

Between December and March, the summer temperature ranges from 95 to 100oF (35 to 39oC). Temperatures between 68 and 86°F are winter (20 to 30oC).

The harbour, which includes the Hill of Tijuca at 3 350 feet (1,021 m), the Corcovado Peak at 2,310 meters, and the Sugar Loaf Mountain at 1,296 feet, is surrounded by large granite mountains (395 m).

There is a high statue of Jesus Christ on top of Mt. Corcovado at 130 feet. The statue’s arms extended over 98 feet (30 m). It weighs sixty-five tons. “Christ the Redeemer” is the name of the statue.

These mountains are part of the mountain chain along the coast of South America, which runs 1,500 miles (2414 km).

The Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro is Rio’s main opera building in the city center. This beautiful neoclassical building was first completed at the beginning of the 20th century and consists of gold mirrors, marble columns, and green onyx escalators. Many claim that this building, inspired by Charles Garnier’s Opera in Paris, is the most beautiful country. If you’re lucky, consider playing in the Municipal Theater. Even if you do not have time or tickets, make sure you enjoy a guided tour of the great Theater in this house.

This beautiful beach, which is the longest in Rio de Janeiro, boasts clean white sand and appears to be less crowded, and draws fewer visitors than Ipanema and Copacabana. In reality, Barra da Tijuca Beach is where the locals want to go when they go to the beach. Its waters are also said to be cleaner than those two more popular beaches. Barra da Tijuca continues to draw enthusiastic beachgoers, so you’ll find many surfers, kite surfers, and body surfers here. Rio is also the youngest region surrounding Barra da Tijuca Beach, which was built about 30 years ago. The mall has more than 700 shops and restaurants, the Barra Shopping center.
